Information about the event

In 1960, four young men named John, Paul, George and Ringo came together to form the band "The Beatles". A decade followed in which the so-called "Fab Four" wrote music history and left behind hits for eternity. To this day, their music still creates euphoria around the world. The musical biography "All You Need Is Love!" celebrated its world premiere on the lake stage at Chiemsee in 2000 and has thrilled millions of audiences ever since. On a major 25th anniversary tour, the successful production tells the story of the Beatles, from the backing band to world fame, and brings the magic of this time back to stages in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Passau, 09.08.2024. With an estimated more than a billion records sold worldwide, the most number one albums and the most successful composer duo Lennon/McCartney in pop history, the Beatles are undoubtedly one of the greatest bands of all time. The musical biography tells the story of the four boys from Liverpool on their way to world fame in two acts: from their first performances in the Hamburg Star Club to their last

joint and world-famous concert on the roof of the Apple Records record company in London. "All You Need Is Love! - The Beatles Musical" presents all of the Fab Four's immortal songs live with over 30 hits, has already thrilled over a million viewers in 14 countries at over 1,000 performances and brings the magic of the past back to the present.

The original band from Las Vegas “Twist & Shout”

Although it is not the originals that appear in the musical produced by Bernhard Kurz, they are their perfectly rehearsed counterparts. The artists not only impress with their professional live singing and their astonishing resemblance to the four role models from Liverpool, their great acting talent also comes to the fore in the recurring spoken episodes and short stories. Authentic costumes and historical video recordings make the illusion perfect and take the audience back to the 1960s. With songs like "Help", "Love Me Do", "Yesterday" and "Hey Jude", the band "Twist & Shout" from Las Vegas embodies the legendary mop tops so authentically that the atmosphere with which the Beatles once captivated the masses is revived.

The story of the Beatles in two acts: from the backing band to mass hysteria

The audience can experience that legendary decade in which the Beatles seemingly effortlessly came up with one global hit after another and drove the competition to despair. The musical is divided into two acts. In the first part, the actors tell of the beginnings of the Beatles, who came to Hamburg in 1960 and initially played as a backing band in strip clubs and bars, later gave their first own concerts and finally made their breakthrough in the USA.

In the second part, "Beatlemania" finally breaks out. The British band literally brings their fans to ecstasy at their performances and also sets new standards in terms of fashion and attitude to life. At the height of their career, in 1970, the Beatles announced their split after their last and world-famous concert on the roof of the Apple Records record label in London. But the myth lives on to this day!

Bernhard Kurz, the man with a flair for successful productions

With "all you need is love!", successful producer Bernhard Kurz and tour organizer Oliver Forster have created a monument to the Beatles. Bernhard Kurz was awarded the "Artist Choice Award" for "Best Producer" in Las Vegas for his successful work, among other things. Kurz is also enjoying success across Europe with shows about Tina Turner ("Simply The Best") and musical biographies about the life and work of Elvis Presley ("ELVIS - The Musical"). Kurz has been a real big name in show business for decades and has become a recognized expert in the field of lookalike shows with the Berlin-based show series "Stars in Concert" over the course of his career.

And producer and organizer Oliver Forster has also filled concert halls in German-speaking countries in recent years with COFO Entertainment's own productions about world stars such as Falco ("FALCO - The Musical"), Frank Sinatra ("That's Life - The Sinatra Story") and Michael Jackson ("BEAT IT!").
