Amarcord - Eröffnungskonzert

Whether it's masterful romantic songs or folk songs from all over the world, nonsense verses or great mass compositions: the musical playground of the Leipzig ensemble amarcord is as wide as the atlas of its festival. However, the singers probably have more of Orlando di Lasso in their repertoire than any other composer. And after 2011 and 2012, they will now be dedicating a program entirely to the "Prince of Musicians" for the third time as part of an a cappella program: amarcord's Lassus portrait at the 24th festival will be a mixture of both secular and sacred works, where we will see and hear, among other things, how Lassus, in his incredibly comprehensible style of composition, transformed his own and other people's chansons into parody masses.
