Whispers from Within
Since 2010, the Art'n'Voices ensemble has literally made strong vocal art and artistic sound its mission, and last May it also convinced the audience and the jury of the International a cappella Competition: The eight singers from the Gdansk University of Music secured the most recent Leipzig a cappella Award with impressive sound and high standards and are returning to the festival for an evening-long award-winners' concert. Their repertoire focus on modern vocal music - many of which are commissioned works and exclusive arrangements - as well as their frequent combination of music and literature have already earned the group several European vocal music awards, not least the 2021 "Fryderyk" Award, the most prestigious award in the Polish music industry.
