"World of Pipe Rock and Irish Dance" combines traditional Irish and Scottish music as well as top-class Irish step dance with a wide range of modern styles. The repertoire of the 7-person live band ranges from classic five-part singing to folkloristic tunes with bagpipes, violin and tin whistle to catchy rock songs with powerful guitar, keyboard and drum sounds. The international "Irish Beats Dance Company" under the direction of Gyula Glaser, who celebrated success as a three-time European champion on Off-Broadway in New York, and Nicole Ohnesorge, who has received several international awards, offers top-class Irish step dance art.
An elaborate stage design and perfect choreography with authentic costumes form the framework for the visual staging of the show. The use of the latest sound and lighting technology as well as fascinating video projections make the two-hour multimedia event a unique and moving experience for Highlanders, music lovers and friends of committed and emotional concert culture.
