Deep Purple are coming to the banks of the Elbe in Dresden on July 19, 2024!
Known as one of the hardest working bands of all time, Purple have released six studio albums since 1996 alone and have toured worldwide with only a few breaks since their formation in 1968. In 2007 (almost 40 years after their formation), the band performed 40 dates in France to an award-winning audience of 150,000 people. In addition, the band teamed up with their hard rock colleagues Judas Priest in the summer of 2022 for a hugely successful 25-city tour of the US and Canada.
Deep Purple's latest album Whoosh! follows the worldwide chart-topping albums inFinite (2017) and NOW What?! (2013).
Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice, Simon McBride, who has been with Deep Purple since Steve Morse's retirement in 2022, and Don Airey continue to explore the vastness of hard rock - the textures and nuances of their recent works are anything but dull retreads.
