The GDR may have long since been relegated to the history books, but East German rock lives on!
Perhaps more than ever. With the "Sachsendreier" three East German bands are going on a big tour together this summer through the most beautiful part of the country. The band project "Sachsendreier" was launched in 1997. Electra, Lift and the Stern-Combo Meißen were involved. They celebrated outstanding success together: the masses flocked and paid homage to the former greats of art rock of the 1970s. Fourteen full-blooded musicians and their outstanding singers brought back an attitude to life that had been thought lost: with vocal art par excellence and virtuoso sounds and lyrics full of moments of identification for their fans.
After Electra's farewell tour in 2015, the time of the Sachsendreier was over for the time being. For now. Because now the Sachsendreier is back in style! And since it takes three bands to make a trio, the cult rockers from Karussell are now joining Lift and Stern Meissen on stage.
