The dancers Pilatus and Morvan became world famous in the late 1980s under the name "Milli Vanilli". They became stars with number one hits and won a Grammy, among other awards. Their downfall came suddenly, as the duo never sang a word in their songs themselves, which came to light during a performance on an American tour when the playback tape suddenly stopped. Sometimes life writes the best stories. After various legal disputes, this has now been made into a film, with Matthias Schweighöfer playing the duo's producer Frank Farian.
