"Kinds Of Kindness" is an anthology film consisting of three episodes, with the same actors appearing in all sections, but each of them playing different roles: The first part is about Robert (Jesse Plemons), who lets his boss (Willem Dafoe) dictate everything to him - what he eats, what he reads, when and with whom he has sex, really everything. In the second episode, Liz (Emma Stone), who went missing on a research trip and was actually believed to be dead, returns home - only her husband Daniel (Jesse Plemons) does not believe that the person in bed next to him is actually his wife. In the final film, cult members Emily (Emma Stone) and Andrew (Jesse Plemons) set out on the orders of their water gurus Omi (Willem Dafoe) and Aka (Hong Chau) to search for a new savior, who, however, must fulfill very specific requirements...
