They're running again! When the irrigation system is running at full speed, the lawn tractor is doing its rounds, the horses are pawing the ground and thousands of Leipzig residents are getting dressed up, then it's time for the Leipzig Scheibenholz to get ready!

Get ready for the 2024 gallop year with four exciting days of horse racing!
With the big Gallop On May 1st, Leipzig's Scheibenholz has traditionally started the horse racing season for over 50 years. For the 2023 season opening, over 15,000 visitors once again flocked to Leipzig's green center.
On 11 July, Scheibenholz invites you to a Thursday evening Party race dayFor the after-work special, the thoroughbreds will not start until around 5 p.m. and will do their laps in the evening sun. After six exciting races, Scheibenholz invites you to an après-race party. We promise a unique summer evening with exciting gallop decisions and a party atmosphere!
The Fashion Race Day on September 8th promises exciting sports and a colorful entertainment program around the election of “Mr. & Mrs. Scheibenholz”.
The great Season finale will once again be all about the family: exciting races, the popular mascot race and the XXL children's land with pony rides will conclude the Leipzig gallop year 2024 on October 6th.
