Information about the event

We have once again succeeded in putting together a good program mix for the Irish Spring Festival 2025, because the aim of this festival is, on the one hand, to show audiences in this country what is happening in the innovative Irish music scene and, on the other hand, to give space to the various styles.

The renowned Northern Irish singer/songwriter duo Fil Campbell & Tom McFarland are marking the start of the 2025 event. Their songs sometimes offer a somewhat "offbeat" view of life and always invite you to sing along. They have contemporary and traditional songs to their name and know how to interact with their audience.

4 Man Job are based in Glasgow and play traditional Celtic music in a "no frills" way (they place great importance on this). Ciaran Ryan (tenor banjo), Dylan Cairns-Hawarth (fiddle), Luc McNally (bazouki, vocals) and Craig Baxter (bodhrán) are responsible for the sound experience. Although they are still young, they already have many years of international stage experience and, one thing is for sure, they do a brilliant job.

After so many men on stage, it is time for female musicians to demonstrate their skills to the audience again. And with Cuas we have been able to gain a band that brings this skill to the stage in an extremely impressive way. Méabh Ní Bheaglaoich (accordion, vocals), Nicole Ní Dhubhshláine (concertina, flute), Niamh Varian-Barry (violin, viola, vocals) and Kyle Macaulay (guitar, bouzouki), the only man in the band, are primarily dedicated to the diverse musical tradition of West Kerry. Exciting polkas and slides, well thought-out new compositions and traditional songs are the focus when these four virtuosos, who are currently among the most promising on the "Emerald Isle" (all already have an impressive musical CV), appear together on stage.

We are also very proud to have the excellent Lenka Fairy as a dancer. Lenka is from the Czech Republic but has lived in Ireland for years. After her first introduction to Irish step dancing, Lenka quickly developed a love for this unique dance style and a great interest in Irish culture. She began to learn Irish dancing and was soon taking part in international competitions. She eventually won the European Irish Dance Championships. Lenka also took part in the World Irish Dance Championships six times and won trophies at countless competitions in Ireland and other European countries.
