From November 2024, RADIO DORIA will be going on tour for the last time. It will be a happy farewell from the stage and a final thank you to the fluffiest fans a band could wish for. The best of 22 years of music, concerts, albums, travel and experiences is just good enough for 12 unique evenings in autumn - The FINALE GRANDE TOUR 2024.
From Britpop sound at "Rock am Ring" to East Rock in the theater to German-language pop music at open air events and festivals - Jan Josef Liefers and his band RADIO DORIA declared the stages of the republic their playground over two decades ago. Since then, the "Free Voice of Insomnia" has been broadcasting its messages to the country live and without any hidden agenda. Whether as a garden party with dancers and animal masks or in flashbacks with the ghosts of the old GDR or in animated worlds in 3D - they have always come up with something to take fans along on their journeys.
RADIO DORIA is spoken and sung words in the midst of instrumental diversity, with a singer who entertains, touches, makes laugh or gives food for thought to his audience even between songs.
"Goal to start, end to beginning / You can always turn around / At the next stop, take a new ticket / And be back at the beginning," says one of their songs. Who knows, maybe there will be a reunion with the boys under a different star someday.
