Johnossi

On May 24th, acclaimed Swedish rock duo Johnossi released their new single “San Antonio” (Universal Music Sweden). The first music from an upcoming album due out in September. In winter 2025, the band will return to Germany for their first proper tour in many years. The single, with its uplifting verses leading into a pretty epic chorus, is described by the band as follows: "Every street corner in every city has its own story. A close friend of ours witnessed something very dramatic in a major American city. That story, mixed with our own experiences and some imagination, brought the drama in this song to life." The single was co-written with their long-time keyboardist Mattias Franzén and produced by respected Swedish producer Måns Lundberg (Håkan Hellström, Deportees, etc.). Johnossi is currently in the studio finishing the album and also announces a seven-day German tour in winter 2025. It's their first proper German tour in many years. There were only a handful of delayed post-Covid dates in June 2022, including the Tempelhof Sounds Festival in Berlin, so it's time for the duo to bring back their explosive live shows.
