Big cinema, no screen – only BlöZinger offers that. Robert Blöchl and Roland Penzinger, collectively known as “BlöZinger”, are the inventors and grandmasters of the head cinema cabaret. A film. Played live on stage. With a minimum of props. And a maximum of ideas with which BlöZinger encourages the imagination and laughter muscles of their audience to perform at their best. Untrained diaphragms are stretched and rusty brain convolutions are oiled. With acting finesse and a large portion of “slander”, BlöZinger bring their bizarre stage characters to life, change roles at lightning speed and bring each character to the point so brilliantly that the audience has no choice but to let themselves be drawn into the witty and entertaining cosmos that BlöZinger create on stage. And of course there is a screen for it – the biggest in the world: our imagination.
Robert Blöchl and Roland Penzinger have been performing as the duo “BlöZinger” since 2004. For their brilliant head cinema cabaret programs, they have received – among many other honors – the German Cabaret Prize and the Austrian Cabaret Prize twice, the most prestigious cabaret awards in the German-speaking world. In Germany, BlöZinger perform their head cinema cabaret programs “ERiCH,” “bis morgen,” and “Zeit.”
