Just a few days ago, the sold-out “Let's Dance – Die Live-Tour 2024!” started again and is now one of the most popular live events in the German event calendar. During four tours and 78 shows, over 500,000 visitors have not missed this spectacular show experience. That's why in 2024 it's time again for Germany's most popular dance show: out of the RTL television studio and onto the live stages. What will be new is that next year there will also be a tour stop in Switzerland. Of course, the charming jurors Motsi Mabuse, Joachim Llambi, Jorge González and presenter Daniel Hartwich will be there again, as well as many popular professionals and great new celebrities.
In 2006, "Let's Dance", the adaptation of the successful BBC format "Strictly Come Dancing", flickered across German TV screens for the first time. For the first time, prominent personalities competed in the special dance competition live on TV. We are now talking about 17 TV seasons, over 60 professionals, 238 celebrities and another sold-out tour in 2023, with a gigantic show production for which 18 trucks and an incredible 140 tons of technology and cables, which would easily take you around the world, drive across Germany to bring the ballroom atmosphere into the halls. The numbers are just as impressive as the fantastic outfits, the sophisticated stage show and the lovingly rehearsed dances.
In 2024 we will have reached the 18th season and are announcing the fifth tour for 2024. This format is and remains a phenomenon. From grandpas to granddaughters, from amateur dancers to “Körperklaus” – everyone is involved in “Let’s Dance” when the prominent candidates, together with the professionals, want to win over the jury and the audience every week and do so step by step Getting closer to the winner's cup. Viewers are eagerly looking forward to the many beautiful TV moments in the spotlight, with rousing music, great costumes, elaborate stage sets and extravagant choreographies. Between excited hope, great triumph and tears of disappointment, between dedication and surrender, between sequins and confetti, between personal favorites, strong competition and the solidarity of all participants - this formula is the secret recipe of "Let's Dance"!
But all of that doesn't describe the live experience when the special LET'S DANCE magic sweeps visitors away, who can finally experience their favorite show live and up close. An atmosphere that always gives the participants goosebumps! Because the cheering in Germany's largest arenas doesn't leave the professionals and celebrities indifferent.
