Information about the event

After the highly acclaimed and sold-out "Refuelled! Tour" in 2023, Mike + The Mechanics are returning with the "Looking Back - Living The Years 2025 Tour". The tour starts in March 2025 and will cover the entire United Kingdom and will then stop in Germany.

Mike Rutherford says: "It's exciting to announce that we're going on tour with the Mechanics again. Touring with the guys last year was a real pleasure. Even though the last tour was four years ago, we quickly got back into the old ways, the old jokes and the camaraderie as if it had only been a day! We had so much fun on the last tour and the audience were so appreciative and warm. When we played the last show in Düsseldorf, we all agreed that we really wanted to do it again. We can't wait to see you." Mike + The Mechanics was founded in 1985 by Mike Rutherford "as a side project to Genesis", with Paul Young and Paul Carrack as the original frontmen. Together they achieved huge commercial success in the 80s and 90s, reaching number one worldwide and selling over 10 million albums.

After the sudden death of Paul Young in 2000, the band released one more album before deciding to take a break. In 2011, Mike started writing songs again and invited Roachford and Tim Howar to join him. Their chemistry was instant and they released the album "The Road". Since then, the band has toured with great success and continues to stay together.
