Mischpoke takes its audience through the ups and downs of life: joy of playing, tempo, wit and charm, but also melancholy and depth characterize the sound of Mischpoke. The Klezmer band celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2020. There were many exciting programs. One constant over all these years is the motto: "Klezmer High Life The 5-person Hamburg band masters all the nuances of Klezmer music and mixes the traditional Klezmer sounds with jazz, classical and world music, often very virtuosically. So "old" sounds new and in the "new" you can hear the beautiful old melodies that leave no audience untouched. But original compositions also play a larger role in the program for the first time. This formation has long been known beyond the Hamburg area. With acclaimed and sold-out concerts all over Germany and abroad.
