With “Walküre”, Nicole Jäger once again faces the dramas of human life with a sharp sword, fearlessly turning them into a hilarious stage show that takes the audience on an emotional rollercoaster ride. Because on stage she is not only hilarious, but often moves her audience to tears. Humor arises from pain - and humor takes away pain!
The Hamburg native manages to move an audience that was just on the floor laughing in no time at all, so much so that you could hear a pin drop. Only to make them laugh again shortly afterwards. This play with emotions is what makes Nicole Jäger's performances unique!
Thematically, “Walküre” deals with all the issues that she is confronted with as a woman: from dealing with her own body, to the question of how to lay a carpet in a properly masculine way, to her own experiences of violence.
