What chaos, what a fantastic mess, it was when the Rhythm Boys took to the stage for the first time thirty years ago and unleashed a hurricane of enthusiasm and total confusion!
None of the four mastered their instruments, but wit, cultivated indiscipline and excellent looks compensated for all musical deficiencies.
That has changed over the years. Nowadays, the gentlemen sing and play much better than they look; lack of discipline has turned into madness and cheerful disorder, and so an evening with the Rhythmus Boys is like the last, tumultuous concert in a dilapidated variety theater that has been given the green light for demolition.
"Tohuwabohu!" symbolizes the long, successful journey that Ulrich Tukur and the Rhythmus Boys have traveled and which makes them unique in the history of popular music.
