Mit „LIFELINES“ nimmt Chris Norman seine riesige Fangemeinde mit auf eine hoch emotionale Zeitreise durch die mehr als 50 Jahre seiner bemerkenswerten Karriere. Damit
wird das Konzeptalbum, das im März 2026 erscheint, zu einer musikalischen Autobiografie. Chris Norman betont: „Mein neues Album ‚LIFELINES‘ hat mir die wunderbare Möglichkeit
gegeben, die verschiedenen Abschnitte meines Lebens noch einmal Revue passieren zulassen und Songs zu singen, die mich während meiner gesamten musikalischen Laufbahn
auf besondere Weise berührt haben.“
Jeder Song steht für eine Station im Leben des Ausnahmekünstlers – in ihrer Gänze ergeben sie einen roten Faden aus Erinnerungen, Emotionen und auch all den musikalischen Einflüssen, die Chris Norman im Laufe der Jahre geprägt haben. Den Auftakt macht die erste Single „LIFELINES“, die gleichzeitig den Beginn der Reise in die Vergangenheit symbolisiert: „‚LIFELINES‘ ist ein Song über Erinnerungen und Erfahrungen aus meinem Leben und meiner Karriere – Momente, die in mir jene starken Gefühle hervorrufen, wie es nur Musik vermag“, so Chris Norman.
Der 75. Geburtstag ist der perfekte Anlass, innezuhalten und zurückzublicken: ob frühe Kindheitserinnerungen, internationale Charterfolge, bewegende Augenblicke. All das findet Platz und Raum auf „LIFELINES“, das vor allem auch den Menschen hinter dem Künstler zeigt. „Ich habe einige besondere Songs aus den Jahrzehnten ausgewählt – Stücke, die mir damals wie heute sehr viel bedeuten. Und ich hoffe, dass sie auch euch viele schöne Erinnerungen zurückbringen,“, erklärt Chris Norman. Neben seinen persönlichen Lieblingssongs werden auf dem Album natürlich auch seine Hits wie „Midnight Lady“ oder „Stumblin‘ In“ – das legendäre Duett mit Suzie Quattro zu finden sein.
Das Herzstück des neuen „LIFELINES“Kapitels wird die kommende Tournee sein, die im Herbst 2026 durch Deutschland gehen wird. Natürlich werden die „LIFELINES“ Songs zusammen mit den Klassikern, die auf keinen Fall fehlen dürfen, dann auf die große Bühne gebracht. Vor allem für die alteingesessenen Fans, die mit der Musik von Chris Norman aufgewachsen sind, werden voll auf ihre Kosten kommen und dürfen sich auf eine emotionale, musikalische Lebensreise mit ihrem Idol freuen.
