The International German Gymnastics Festival is the world's largest competitive and popular sports event, with 80,000 athletes and hundreds of thousands of visitors. Having first appeared in 1863 as host of the third General German Gymnastics Festival, Leipzig will host a gymnastics festival for the 13th time in 2025. With a compact and contemporary concept, a wide variety of sporting competitions, spectacular shows, hands-on activities and demonstrations will be on offer at various locations in the city from May 28 to June 1, 2025.
