24. Festival Für Vokalmusik - a capella

Dear a cappellaAudience,

The 23rd edition of our festival last May was colourful and delightfully unifying, and so we are ready to offer you and us an equally rich cup of fantastic a cappella sounds in the coming month of May.
Contributors include the Shemesh Quartet from Mexico and Acapellago from the Philippines – two country premieres that we will be presenting at the Festival Edition No. 24 We are also delighted to finally have British icons The Tallis Scholars at a cappella and the guest performance by Svetoglas from Bulgaria. There will also be a reunion with the Swabian humorous Füenf before they retire from the ensemble, as well as with Vocado, our Swedish competition winners from 2008.
The International a cappella We are of course starting a new round of the competition to bring young ensemble talents from all over the world closer to us, and in this context we are looking forward to the prizewinners' concert of the current winners, Art'n'Voices from Poland. All this, this time an interactive lecture on the voice and, as always, much, much more awaits you from the 3 to 11 May 2024 in Leipzig!

And don’t forget to secure your tickets in time: Your a cappella concert tickets for 2024 are now available at the well-known ticket offices in Leipzig and online via eventim. For the time until the festival, we cordially invite you to look back under the menu item “Years” with the associated galleries and reviews – and then we will see and hear each other in a lively and sonorous way. a cappella No. 24 in May!
