Jahrhundert: Der Apachen-Häuptling Abahachi und sein Blutsbruder Ranger sind zuständig für Frieden und Gerechtigkeit. Als Abahachi bei den Schoschonen einen Kredit zur Finanzierung eines Stamm-Lokals aufnimmt, beginnen die Schwierigkeiten: Er gerät an den Gauner Santa Maria, der ihm nicht nur eine Schrottfassade andreht und mit dem geliehenen Geld durchbrennt, sondern die Blutsbrüder bei den Schoschonen auch noch anschwärzt. So kommt es dazu, dass im Land, wo die Schoschonen schön wohnen, der „Klappstuhl“ ausgegraben wird…Mit dem Komödienerfolg ERKAN & STEFAN gab Michael „Bully“ Herbig (bullyparade) sein Debüt als Filmregisseur. In der turbulenten Persiflage „Der Schuh des Manitu“ hat er neben der Tätigkeit als Produzent und Autor auch die Regie und die Doppelhauptrolle übernommen.
