Die zugezogene 13-jährige Vic Beretton (Sophie Marceau) lernt in Paris Pénélope (Sheila O'Connor) und deren Schwester Samantha (Alexandra Gonin) kennen. Die drei Mädchen verbringen fortan viel Zeit miteinander, wobei Vic darauf aus ist, auch mal Erfahrungen mit Jungs zu sammeln. Und das gelingt ihr! Denn Mathieu (Alexandre Sterling), den sie auf einer Party trifft, interessiert sich für Vic. Die Beziehung der beiden Teenager gerät jedoch ins Straucheln, weil Mathieu nicht ehrlich ist. Hinter Vics Rücken trifft er sich noch mit einem anderen Mädchen. Während Vic versucht, die Schwierigkeiten bei ihren ersten Gehversuchen mit dem anderen Geschlecht zu meistern, kracht es bei ihren Eltern: Vics Vater François (Claude Brasseur) ist seiner Frau Françoise (Brigitte Fossey) nicht treu. Vic findet bei ihrer Urgroßmutter Poupette (Denise Grey) Zuflucht vor dem ganzen Gefühlschaos, muss sich ihrem Teenageralltag aber schließlich wieder stellen…
