In der Phase des Kalten Krieges begeben sich der Literaturnobelpreisträger Thomas Mann (Hanns Zischler) und seine Tochter, die Schauspielerin, Autorin und Rallyefahrerin Erika Mann (Sandra Hüller), in einem schwarzen Buick auf eine emotional fordernde Reise durch ein zerfallenes Deutschland. Die Route führt von Frankfurt, wo die Amerikaner die Kontrolle ausüben, bis nach Weimar. Erstmals nach dem Krieg kehrt Mann in das Land seiner Herkunft zurück, das er einst verlassen hatte, um in den USA Zuflucht zu finden.

The box office in our venue opens 2 hours before the concert begins and usually closes 15 minutes after the event begins.
