When the well-known cabaret artist, actor and full-blooded Saxon Gunter Böhnke and the author and Saxon mother Kristina from the village meet, it quickly becomes clear that love for one's homeland and one's own dialect knows no age and no weight and can be lived in completely different ways. At their tandem reading, the two authors not only shine with their books about Saxony and the dialect, but also lead through the program with (Saxon) wit and relaxed dialogues. Between Lene Voigt, Dialect Lessons 2.0 and Saxon classics, they show the diversity of the Saxon dialect and make it clear why life without the dialect would be terribly boring.
