Levin Liam released his debut album “lose face” on September 27, 2024.
The introspective album reflects his last years, in which he rose from insider status to millions of listeners and established himself in the music industry. In doing so, he questions the role of the artist in a superficial industry that increasingly alienates him. Musically, Levin mixes hip hop and soul and relies on experimental, minimalist arrangements with analogue instrumentation. His lyrics are often ambiguous, sometimes surreal, and rely on emotional ambiguity. The album is an honest and vulnerable work that reveals Levin's inner conflict between success and personal authenticity.
