To mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of the British supergroup Pink Floyd in 1965 and the 50th anniversary of their album "Wish You Were Here", The Australian Pink Floyd Show is returning in 2025. The upcoming tour, named after the anniversary album "WISH YOU WERE HERE - 50TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR", puts the spotlight on the 1975 mega-seller, which sold more than 20 million copies and is one of the 100 best-selling albums worldwide. The five songs included on it play a central role in the upcoming tour, which starts on February 9, 2025 in Berlin and then goes through a further twelve arenas in Germany. In addition, the "Floydians" can also look forward to the biggest hits and classics from Pink Floyd's impressive work.
Often described as much more than a tribute band, The Australian Pink Floyd Show is the first Pink Floyd tribute show to take the concept to arenas worldwide. The band has played to sold-out audiences across Europe, the UK, America, Canada and South America.
“For the record, The Australian Pink Floyd Show is a phenomenon that has to be experienced live... It's almost as if you forget that you're not seeing Pink Floyd, but a tribute band,” Prog Magazine sums it up.
