A cappella concert

Exquisite vocal music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods awaits us at a cappella 2025 at the concert of the Profeti della Quinta, who are delighted to be honoring us for the second time. The ensemble, which was formed in Israel and Switzerland, is dedicated to vocal music of the 16th and 17th centuries and has, among other things, uncovered rarely performed repertoire by Jewish composers and in the Hebrew language. For their program at the 2025 festival, the Profeti are combining works by Salomone Rossi and Claudio Monteverdi, two composers who are known for very different works but who have some biographical (and perhaps musical?) connections. With their very own esprit, the ensemble thus presents us with thematically and musically worth listening to from “Synagogue and Palace”!
