The world-famous Oscar winner Ennio Morricone is considered one of the most productive composers in the history of film music; he has written over 500 film scores for cinema and television and created legendary pieces.
He received his last Oscar in February 2016 for Tarantino's "The Hateful 8". Morricone made himself immortal almost 50 years ago with his music for "Once Upon a Time in the West". He is particularly well-known for his compositions for the spaghetti western classic "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "Mission" and for Giuseppe Tornatore's film "Cinema Paradiso".
His fans can experience Morricone's unforgettable works live in selected cities. The large ensemble of soloists, musicians and choir of the Milano Festival Opera under the direction of the renowned conductor Marco Seco will be on stage and bring Morricone's rousing music to life.
ORIGINAL FILM SCENES The technically complex screen animation with the original film scenes condenses the gripping atmosphere and creates the famous goosebumps effect that no one can escape.
Ennio Morricone's most important works include the soundtracks to "The Hateful 8", "Once Upon a Time in the West", "Kill Bill 2", "My Name is Nobody", "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "Once Upon a Time in America", "A Fistful of Dollars" and "All the President's Men".
