The incredible guitarist Vicki Vomit said goodbye to the stage in 2020 with a brilliant farewell tour, which was then abruptly interrupted by Corona. Even today, people are still puzzling over how a fake Mexican beer could be so contagious. And how Vicki Vomit managed to forcibly vaccinate all Germans with a health-damaging placebo and blame the government for it.
But Vicki Vomit wouldn't be Vicki Vomit if new ideas didn't take hold of him again. And so now more mischief is looming! Vicki Vomit is going on a reading tour with his first novel "Mein Klampf". And not only that, to make matters worse, his geriatric nurse is dragging his guitar around with him on the tour, so that he also has to fear intoning some of the master's most horrific works.
This is what our colleagues say about the novel.
A very honest and open insight into part of the Thuringian music scene from the 70s, 80s and up until today. At times I laughed until I cried! But here and there it's not for the faint of heart.
Ritchie Barton (Silly)
"I'm reading this book backstage, forgetting to plug in my microphone because I'm on the tour bus with Vicki, laughing out loud over and over again and hoping that my audience will be half as entertained afterwards as I was on this amazing journey. A literary brew with a high alcohol content, with weird, funny and incredibly apt phrases."
Stefan Waghubinger, cabaret artist
Rock'n'roll life in the GDR, brilliantly told by an absolutely untamable free spirit. Authentic, full of truth and in places simply hilarious.
Götz Widmann, songwriter
If there are any efforts to bring this work onto the market as an audio book, I ask that you do not consider me as a speaker, because otherwise there is a serious risk that I will laugh myself to death during the recording.
