Viva la Vida - A Tribute to Frida Kahlo celebrates an emotional homage to a life full of strength and resilience in dance perfection. Accompanied by rousing live music and singing with boleros, tangos and popular Mexican songs, this masterpiece ignites a feast for all the senses!

Frida, who was accompanied by death her entire life, experienced her life in all its intensity: whether moments flooded with rays of sunshine or those moments that seemed as dark as the darkest night. Her story has fascinated the whole world and still does today. Through movement and artistic representation, Enrique Gasa Valga makes Frida's indomitable spirit, her passion, her intensity and her pain visible. For his dance theater, Valga was awarded the Austrian music theater prize, the Golden Schikaneder, for the best ballet production of the 2011/12 season.
