Stuntman Colt Seavers, who had been worn out by countless jobs, had actually retired from active service a year earlier to recover physically and mentally from his backbreaking job. But then Tom Ryder, star of a multi-million dollar film project, disappears without a trace.
\nThe film is directed by Colt's ex Jody Moreno - and before he knows it, Colt is back on the job. While the film's hardened producer tries to keep her star's disappearance a secret from the studio and the media, Colt takes on the hair-raising stunts and tries, more or less successfully, to win back Jody's favor.
\nBut soon the secrets surrounding the missing star become more and more mysterious, and Colt finds himself involved in a sinister conspiracy that is more dangerous than any stunt ...<\/p>\n
