Field Commander C. \u2013 The Songs of Leonard Cohen<\/b><\/p>\n

Field Commander C. is a tribute to the great Canadian singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen. The band plays classics such as \u201cSuzanne\u201d, \u201cSisters Of Mercy\u201d, \u201cSo Long Marianne\u201d and \u201cFamous Blue Raincoat\u201d with impressive virtuosity and unceasing joy of playing.
\nAt the forefront is musician and film producer Rolf Ableiter, who presents Cohen's mostly melancholic tones in an authentic and unique way.
\nField Commander C. brings Leonard Cohen back to life for great moments and sends his visitors on a unique journey through time with the lyrics and songs of one of the greatest music poets of the 20th century - live!<\/p>\n

Tour of 1979<\/b>
\nLeonard Cohen's live performances in the late 1970s are legendary and are considered by many Cohen fans to be the best in his long musical career.
\nThe celebrated concerts with large ensembles were impressively documented in the album \u201cField Commander Cohen\u201d, which was only released in 2001 and which gave \u201cField Commander C.\u201d its name.
\nThe sound is based entirely on the sound of these legendary shows. Ten fantastic and extremely sensitive musicians stand on stage and celebrate the songs of one of the greatest music poets of our time. Great cinema!<\/p>\n

Early works - The roots of Hallelujah<\/b>
\nRolf Ableiter's Field Commander C. goes in search of clues with a more intimate line-up: "Early Works - the Roots of Hallelujah".
\nAnyone interested in Leonard Cohen cannot avoid the song "Hallelujah". But if you want to understand how this incredible song came about, you have to look at Cohen's early work.
\nSongs like \u201cSuzanne\u201d, \u201cBird on the Wire\u201d, \u201cSo Long Marianne\u201d, \u201cFamous Blue Raincoat\u201d etc. are, alongside Hallelujah, some of Cohen\u2019s most famous works and were all written during the creative period of the first four albums.
