In 2023, after some time without new songs, THE HOOTERS released the album "Rocking & Swing" and toured it successfully in the following two summers. It takes us back to the band's roots in the early 80s. With their unique mix of ska, reggae and rock, recorded at the Keswick Theatre in November 2022, they hit the mark with their fans, especially with the first-time recording of some early songs that they performed live at their club concerts back in the early days.<\/p>\n

In 1983 they released their first independent album, "Amore", which included one of their biggest hits, "All You Zombies". By 1986 THE HOOTERS had already had four hit singles and were touring almost non-stop. Still relatively unknown a year earlier, the band was now sharing the stage with artists such as U2, The Police, Bryan Adams, Lou Reed and Peter Gabriel. In 1987 THE HOOTERS then released "One Way Home", which included the famous hit "Johnny B" and the song "Satellite". More albums followed.<\/p>\n

After numerous tours, THE HOOTERS decided to take a well-deserved break in 1995 and concentrate on various solo projects. Rob Hyman and Eric Bazilian made their talents as musicians and songwriters available to other artists, including Mick Jagger, Joan Osborne ("One of us"), John Bon Jovi, Robbie Williams ("Old before I die") and Cyndi Lauper ("Time after Time"). From the beginning of the 2000s, the band continued with a new line-up with great success, especially in Europe, and many tours and releases.
