DRUM TAO formed in Oita, Japan and began creating their own music, stage set and costumes to create their one world of entertainment.

\nDRUM TAO's stage is created by phenomenal performances and expressions consisting of incomparable "Wadaiko drums" and the beautiful melody of Japanese flutes and harps. It is the "Japanese Entertainment" for a new generation that completely exceeds expectations. Their new long-running production "MANGEKYO" started in 2017 in Tokyo night entertainment for international audiences. The show is also very popular with tourists.
\nIt was announced that the show will be performed in their exclusive theater starting in April 2019, the year of the Tokyo Olympics.
\nIn 2018, they performed at the opening ceremony of \u201cJaponism 2018\u201d in Paris, France. They also performed together with the Bolshoi Ballet as the opening act of \u201cJapan Year in Russia\u201d at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, Russia.
\nThey were honored with the \u201cOutstanding Culture\u201d award for their contribution \u201cfrom Oita Prefecture,\u201d \u201cCulture Creators Award\u201d from Taketa City, Oita Prefecture, and received \u201cThe 6th Japan Commissioner Award of the Tourism Agency\u201d and \u201cMinister of the Interior and Communications Award\u201d given by the Japanese government.
