Mitten im Leben fasst Paul Gompitz den Entschluss, von Rostock aus nach Syrakus auf Sizilien zu reisen. Angetrieben von dem Wunsch, den Spuren des Dichters Johann Gottlieb Seume zu folgen, entwickelt sich die Idee zu einem persönlichen Ziel. Doch Paul lebt in der DDR und damit hinter einer streng bewachten Grenze, die legale Ausreisen nahezu unmöglich macht. Der Plan lässt sich auf offiziellem Weg nicht verwirklichen. Um sein Vorhaben dennoch umzusetzen, beginnt er, eine Flucht vorzubereiten, die ihn seinem Ziel näherbringen soll.

The box office in our venue opens 2 hours before the concert begins and usually closes 15 minutes after the event begins.
