We book your tickets according to the best seat principle. You decide on the category you want and we book the best available seats. Seats are usually next to each other. If this cannot be booked, we will contact you before booking.
Marty (Timothée Chalamet) ist zwar nur ein einfacher Schuhverkäufer, aber das hält ihn trotzdem nicht davon ab, im Traum die ganz großen Brötchen zu backen. Er fantasiert den lieben langen Tag davon, Weltmeister im Tischtennis zu werden. Oder viel mehr: Er ist bereits davon überzeugt, zu den weltweit besten Tischtennisspieler*innen zu gehören. Deshalb ist es für ihn nur noch eine Frage der Zeit, bis die Realität nachzieht. Seine große Chance sieht er in einem Turnier, für das Marty von New York City nach London fliegt. Doch dort wird er mit der knallharten Realität des Sports, zu dem es dann eben doch ein bisschen mehr als Selbstbewusstsein braucht, konfrontiert. Im Finale unterliegt er dem Japaner Koto Endo (Koto Kawaguchi). Doch Marty will sich noch nicht geschlagen geben und beginnt damit, das Geld für das nächste Turnier zusammen zu kratzen. Dieses Mal muss es mit dem Sieg klappen, sonst muss Marty womöglich wirklich bis in alle Ewigkeit im Schuladen seines Onkels versauern...
