Gregor Gysi, legend of the Left Party and alternative elder statesman, has been accompanied on his reading tours for years by Hans-Dieter Schütt. Hans-Dieter Schütt studied theater studies in Leipzig, and was editor of the daily newspapers "Junge Welt" and "Neues Deutschland" in the GDR.
