He became famous in 1980 when he founded the band "Frankie Goes to Hollywood" together with Brian Nash and Peter Gill. The band quickly stormed the charts with their international hit "Relax".

But this was not the end of Holly's career. He started his solo career and his first album "Blast" was an immediate success. It spent 17 weeks at number 1 in the UK charts, 25 weeks in the German charts and was awarded gold.
And that was just the beginning: In the same year, his remix album "Hallelujah" was released, followed by "Dreams That Money Can't Buy" in 1991 and then "Soulstream" in 1999, which included his version of "The Power of Love" and stayed in the UK charts for a total of 56 weeks.
