Grab the root of the problem and pull it out, take a stand and question what is given. We know radical measures, radical groups, radical art. Radicality comes to us in big letters, loud protests and superlatives, unexpected, intimidating and uncomfortable. As an uncompromising attitude, radicalism seeks to demand or prevent, and in doing so forces the environment to react in the opposite direction: all or nothing! But how long can this tension be maintained? How long does radicalism last? When and how can it be stopped? And when are you radical, or why not?

The Norwegian choreographer Hege Hagenruud combines interview sequences and documentary material with alienation techniques such as lip synchronization and strict movement patterns. This creates a tension between concrete references to our reality and gestures that are open to interpretation. The dancers thus circle around a feeling on the border between "too far" and "not far enough" that can mobilize and at the same time paralyze us in social interaction, and often leave us angry or speechless.
