I'm a comedian and cabaret artist, and I've been touring throughout German-speaking countries since September 2009. When people ask me, "Do you do comedy or are you a cabaret artist?", it sounds to me as if cabaret is an illness that prevents me from being funny. In the US, there's no distinction between comedy and cabaret. There's only stand-up comedy. If things get too socially critical and political on a New York stage, you're a "political comedian."

In 2009, I ventured onto the cabaret and comedy stage. The venue was the First Cologne Living Room Theater, which was to close its doors forever in 2020.
