Im Juni 2026 führt Calum Scott seine bewegende „The Avenoir Tour“ fort und macht Halt in Leipzig. Damit schließt er an die erfolgreichen Konzerte im Herbst 2025 an. Im Rahmen dessen konnte er die Zuschauer*innen in Deutschland bereits mit seiner authentischen Bühnenpräsenz und den nahbaren Songs in seinen Bann ziehen. Im Gepäck hat der Brite sein im Oktober erschienenes Album „Avenoir“ – ein Werk voller Gefühl, Tiefe und musikalischer Weiterentwicklung. Nach weltweiten Erfolgen, ausverkauften Shows und seiner aktuellen Teilnahme als Comeback-Coach bei The Voice of Germany bringt Calum Scott seine Musik erneut dorthin, wo sie am stärksten wirkt – auf die Bühne.
Mit seiner unverwechselbaren Stimme, die Schmerz, Hoffnung und Liebe in jeder Nuance spürbar macht und seinem authentischen Songwriting trifft er weltweit den Nerv seines Publikums. Seit dem Durchbruch mit der bewegenden Interpretation von Robyns „Dancing On My Own“, die ihm eine BRIT-Award-Nominierung einbrachte, hat er sich als Stimme einer Generation etabliert. Seither begeistert er mit emotional aufgeladenen Songs wie „You Are The Reason“, „Biblical“ oder „Rise“, der vom Rolling Stone als einer der „50 inspirierendsten LGBTQ-Songs aller Zeiten“ ausgezeichnet wurde.
„Avenoir“ eröffnet für Calum ein neues Kapitel. Das Album nimmt Bezug auf den gleichnamigen Begriff aus The Dictionary of Obscure Sorrows, der das Verlangen beschreibt, Erinnerungen rückwärts erleben zu können. Diese Sehnsucht durchzieht das gesamte Werk – voller Rückblicke, Reue, aber auch Hoffnung und Liebe. Besonders wegweisend zeigt sich dabei der Albumsong „God Knows“: musikalisch kraftvoller, aber emotional genauso verletzlich wie eh und je. Produziert von Jon „MAGS” Maguire und The Nocturns, entstand der Track in den legendären Real World Studios von Peter Gabriel.
