Rether links the current with the forgotten, the near with the far, questions, disputes, doubts. He thoroughly shakes up the central beliefs of western "civilization" and exposes so-called constraints to laughter as collective fictions. With surprising comparisons, he seduces the audience to a change of perspective - to a different view of the world, of the future, of the mirror, and of uncomfortable truths. And he calls on us to free ourselves from our often instrumentalized fear and anger.
