There are few artists who can look back on a career as varied and successful as Maggie Reilly. From the soul and funk-influenced beginnings of the 1970s with her group Cado Belle, to her global career as a singer and stage attraction with the Mike Oldfield Group, to becoming a highly regarded institution as a solo artist, Maggie Reilly has been an integral part of show business for almost 40 years.
After Maggie Reilly recorded her first album with the formation Cado Belle in 1976, an album that was clearly influenced by soul influences and the West Coast, and toured the world with greats like Poco, she succeeded in 1981 as the singer of the Mike Oldfield Group global breakthrough.
It is her voice that made hits like “Moonlight Shadow”, “Family Man”, “To France” and “Foreign Affair” the personal soundtrack of millions. These songs are still part of the regular repertoire of radio stations today and have earned a permanent place in the history of music and in the lives of music lovers.
At the end of the 1980s, Maggie Reilly took time to spend with her family. In 1992 she made a remarkable comeback with her first solo album “Echoes”. Her first single “Everytime We Touch” stormed to the top of the international charts and proved that the Scottish singer could also build on the success of her time with Mike Oldfield as a solo artist and own songwriter.

Further successes followed with the hits “Wait”, “Follow The Midnight Sun”, “Listen To Your Heart”, “Every Single Heartbeat” and “Always You”. “Everytime We Touch” even managed to storm to the top of the hit lists for a second time. As a dance version of the band Cascada, it occupied first place in the US charts for weeks.
