Nico Wieditz, who is known for his exceptional simultaneous hearing, can make even unknown melodies sound spontaneous and virtuoso by interpreting and improvising musical requests on the church organ at lightning speed. With the battle cry "I'm into organs - you're a piper", Wieditz embodies an artistic philosophy that represents a playful mixture of seriousness and provocation.

A trademark of his concerts: He opens with classical music and then ironically dismisses it to captivate the audience with his modern style.

The “organ rebel” is known for his unique charm and humorous provocation. He animates the audience, interacts openly and surprises with hits like “Lambada”, accompanied by the tongue-in-cheek remark that you can also dance in a church.

His repertoire ranges from the Beatles and Rolling Stones to Grönemeyer and Led Zeppelin. It also includes “Eternity”, a homage to the Pet Shop Boys.

Nico Wieditz has been at home on international stages for over 30 years and is a master at combining the tradition of the organ with a modern sound. His show lets the organ shine in many facets - from epic film classics such as "Once Upon a Time in the West" and "Braveheart" to nostalgic TV melodies such as "Captain Future".
