With the "World of Hans Zimmer" concert series, multiple Academy Award® and Grammy winner Hans Zimmer has created live experiences that guide fans around the world through his film music in a fascinating and unique way. As musical director and curator, the master himself is largely responsible for the "The World of Hans Zimmer" shows, even if he isn't on stage himself.
In 2026, the two current show productions of this internationally acclaimed concert series will tour Europe for the first time ever.
"The Immersive Symphony" is the latest addition to the concert series. Following its acclaimed world premiere in January 2025 at the Metronom Theater Oberhausen, this new show gem will finally go on tour in spring 2026. Captivating lighting design, breathtaking visual effects, and the incomparably original Hans Zimmer soundscape captivate the audience, making them an integral part of this magical concert atmosphere. The new show format is complemented by outstanding soloists from Zimmer's talent pool and the "World of Hans Zimmer Orchestra."
Starting in October 2026, the internationally successful tour "A New Dimension" will once again be performed in Europe's largest arenas. Captivating, overwhelming, and fantastically cinematic: audiences can look forward to an emotional journey through the legendary composer's most famous works, presented in a breathtaking setting. Hans Zimmer's unique new orchestral suites are combined with visually stunning projections, powerful sound arrangements, and touching solo performances, creating an unforgettable experience for all the senses. Multi-Grammy® nominee Matt Dunkley will conjure the magic of Zimmer's works live on stage on this tour, together with some of Hans Zimmer's top soloists, the first-class Odessa Orchestra & Friends, and the extraordinary Nairobi Chamber Chorus.
Since the previous concert tour "The World of Hans Zimmer - A Symphonic Celebration" was first performed live in Germany in 2018, it has evolved into the internationally acclaimed concert series "The World of Hans Zimmer", which has attracted 1.2 million viewers to date.
The brand new album “The World of Hans Zimmer - Part II ‘A New Dimension'” was released at the end of January 2025 via Sony Music Classical.
