Sebastian Krumbiegel: Meine Stimme - Zwischen Haltung und Unterhaltung

Even as a teenager and during his training in the Thomanerchor in Leipzig in the 1970s and 1980s, Sebastian Krumbiegel stood out for his rebellious nature. It made life interesting, but not necessarily easier. The upheavals that led to the end of the GDR came at just the right time for him. He seized the opportunity and became one of the first all-German pop stars with his band Die Prinzen. It made life even more interesting, but it didn't necessarily get any easier. Krumbiegel has a habit of meddling when and where it suits him. As a celebrity, that's not the only way to make friends.

In his autobiography, he takes stock of his life, from his (wonderful) childhood and youth in the GDR through his baseball bat years in the new Federal Republic to the present day. A life both in the spotlight and in the eye of the shitstorm, a life as a pop star and as a citizen.
