A Christmas musical
Where the forest is seven days deep, there it glows and sparkles mysteriously. That is THE DREAM MAGIC TREE. Day and night, it lets its colorful dream leaves grow and fly to the children. And in each of these leaves lies a little story. For the Christmas season in the historic Palace of Mirrors, it has dream-conjured up a new dream leaf. It is meant to shine golden and bright, bringing peace and reconciliation. For this, the Dream Magic Tree has ordered a bag of golden stardust from the star cleaner Funkelfix.
The two forest spirits, Moosmutzel and Waldwuffel, wait excitedly and curiously with the children watching for Pieter, Funkelfix's assistant. Pieter lands with the bag of stardust in the middle of the magical dream forest. His flight coordinates take him to the agreed-upon location, but where are Moosmutzel and Waldwuffel? The two are very worried, because two villains, the brothers Tarn and Kappe, are after the stardust. But the children are watching.
Will the golden stardust arrive at the Dream Magic Tree in time for Christmas?
Generations of children have grown up with the stories of the Magic Dream Tree. Poetry in words and music continues to enchant the hearts of children of all ages.

In 1978, Monika Ehrhardt and her husband, the composer and musician Reinhard Lakomy, created the genre of story songs, a genre that had never existed before or anywhere else. Their endlessly imaginative narratives and lyrics, along with his diverse compositions, resulted in a symbiosis that is probably unique in the German-speaking world. The best-known example of this congenial partnership is "Der Traumzauberbaum" (The Magic Dream Tree) from 1980. Selling millions of copies and certified platinum, the work enjoys cult status even 45 years after its initial release and, to the delight of its fans, was continued in subsequent decades with a second, third, and fourth part. Independently of this "Traumzauberbaum" quartet, the duo Ehrhardt/Lakomy created eleven more story song productions up to 2020, which are in no way inferior to the classic in terms of quality.
