Jetzt kommt 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗷𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗷𝗮𝘇𝘇 𝗘𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗲 nach 17 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗻 𝗝𝗮𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗻 zurück ins 𝗨𝗧 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗶𝘁𝘇. Nicht zufällig, nicht „auf Tour halt auch“, sondern weil Golden Rhino sie hierher bringen.
Das ist eine dieser seltenen Nächte, die man nicht auf „später mal“ verschiebt. TKDE spielt nicht ständig, und wenn sie spielen, passiert das nicht nebenbei. Das UT ist dafür der richtige Rahmen: konzentriert, nah dran, ohne Ablenkung und mit dieser besonderen, fast feierlichen Würde.
𝗧𝗞𝗗𝗘 ist ein Kollektiv um Jason Köhnen und Gideon Kiers, gegründet 2000. Ausgangspunkt waren Live-Neuinterpretationen von Soundtracks (u. a. zu Metropolis und Nosferatu), daraus entwickelte sich ein eigener Stil zwischen Dark Jazz, Doom, Ambient, Post-Rock und experimenteller Elektronik.
Charakteristisch sind die kollektive Improvisation, das organische Zusammenspiel der Instrumente und die Art, wie sich Motive im Set ständig verändern. Wer die Band live erlebt, merkt schnell: Das ist keine Nostalgie-Reise, sondern Gegenwartsmusik mit enormer Sogwirkung und einem Sound, der in dieser Form ziemlich einzigartig geblieben ist.
