Even in Hollywood, soundtrack specialists are not given much time to dress the freshly edited cinema images in the right orchestral garb. And yet it is often the composers who help a film to become immortal - with brilliant melodic ideas and an unerring sense of emotion and drama. John Williams and Hans Zimmer are the two great sound wizards of our day who have given generations of film fans goosebumps and feelings of happiness, and whose melodies are known to everyone.
Williams alone has been nominated for an Oscar over 50 times and, of course, the two figureheads of film symphony were recently on the prominent list again. They both have their own unique musical language, whose stylistic range knows no bounds and sets new standards. All of the catchy tunes and striking themes make the film music spectacle "The Sound of Hans Zimmer & John Williams" shine in a true festival of tones!
